WeatherBug Welcomes Back Pat Perrotta, Adds Lynn Weiss Kane and John Phillips to Advertising Sales Team

Germantown, MD, and New York, NY - September 23, 2010 - WeatherBug®, the leading provider of consumer and professional weather products and services and operator of the largest weather observing and lightning network, announced that Pat Perrotta has returned to the company as a senior account executive in its New York City advertising sales office. In addition, Lynn Weiss Kane has joined the West Coast team as a senior account executive and John Phillips has joined the Midwest team as an account executive.

Pat Perrotta rejoins WeatherBug from North American Media, where he was digital sales manager. Previously, Perrotta spent eight years as a member of the WeatherBug sales team. Lynn Weiss Kane is bringing to WeatherBug 14 years of experience in sales, including over ten years in online ad sales. She has sold for publishers such as WebMD, MSN, Yahoo!, EverydayHealth and ABCNews.com. Based in Los Angeles, Weiss Kane will drive WeatherBug advertising sales revenue across Southern California, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico.

John Phillips comes to WeatherBug from IAC CityGrid Media where he sold both display and mobile media. Prior to IAC, he sold for the Yahoo! Premium Partner Network. Based in the greater Chicago area, Phillips brings strong relationships in the Midwest and a true understanding of how to build successful partnerships.

"It's great to have Pat Perrotta on the team again. His return, coupled with bringing onboard seasoned ad sales executives like Lynn Weiss Kane and John Phillips, positions WeatherBug for a strong finish to the year," said vice president of advertising sales and marketing, Michael Lombardi. "Their experience and commitment to excellence will help drive custom engagement solutions for our clients to exceed their advertising goals."
