WeatherBug Teams with Opera’s AdMarvel to Deliver Rich-Media Ads to Millions of Smartphone Users

Thanks to a new partnership with Opera Software’s AdMarvel offering, the leading provider of mobile advertising platform services, WeatherBug will soon begin running rich-media advertisements on its apps for all the latest smartphones.
The announcement is being made in conjunction with the CTIA Enterprise & Applications show on October 11-13, 2011 in San Diego, Calif. Earth Networks will be showcasing its wide range of WeatherBug mobile apps at booth #711.
Using the software developer kits (SDK) and application programming interfaces (APIs) from AdMarvel, WeatherBug will deliver relevant and interactive ads on the free versions of its weather apps. Ads delivered and managed by the AdMarvel platform will be featured on WeatherBug mobile apps beginning this fall.
