WeatherBug’s Advertising Sales Team Promotes Kelly Furlong and Welcomes Brittiony Borges
Germantown, MD and New York, NY – WeatherBug®, observing network, announces that Kelly Furlong has been promoted to director of Midwest sales. In addition, Brittiony Borges has joined the West Coast team as a senior account executive.
Furlong joined WeatherBug in 2007 and has worked with clients including Purina, Busch Entertainment, Sonic and Kmart to develop innovative advertising solutions across its desktop, web and mobile platforms. Previously, she worked in national cable television sales at Rainbow Media, Turner Broadcasting, Court TV and USA Network. Furlong will continue to work out of Chicago and support clients in the Midwest area.
With over 10 years of experience in advertising sales, Borges comes to WeatherBug from Media Networks, Inc., where she sold targeted digital, traditional and mobile advertising in Western Canada, Oregon and Idaho. Her clients included Cedars-Sinai, Starbucks, Microsoft and Alaska Airlines. Borges, based in Seattle, will call on accounts in the Pacific Northwest.
