WeatherBug Wins Tabby Award for Best Tablet Weather App

November 8, 2013 – WeatherBug®, the popular weather app from Earth Networks, won a Tabby Award for Best Tablet App. An independent judging panel selected WeatherBug for Android as the winner in the Weather category. Representatives from WeatherBug will accept the award during a ceremony at the TabletBiz Conference and Expo on November 13 in New York City. 

The inaugural Tabby Awards are the only competition worldwide for the best iPad, Android and Windows 8 tablet apps. Held by TabTimes, the only media covering the tablet industry and ecosystem, and the Application Developers Alliance, an industry association representing individual developers and companies, the Tabbies celebrate the best tablet apps to help developers and their customers develop and adopt best practices. 

The Tabby honor follows WeatherBug’s acceptance in June of the Best Weather App Ever in the weather category. WeatherBug for Android also won a 2013 Appy Award for Best Weather App in March at an awards ceremony during the SXSW Interactive Conference in Austin, Texas.
