The Earth Networks-WeatherBug Weather Network, Total Lightning Network, Camera Network and Meteorology Team tracks Hurricane Irene up and down the East Coast. On air, online and via mobile devices, Earth Networks-WeatherBug tools and technology helped keep the public and emergency managers informed of Irene's predicted and observed impacts.

Earth Networks and Scripps Announce Collaboration
Dr. Tony Haymet and Bob Marshall, founder and CEO of Earth Networks, announce formation of a new greenhouse gas network. This network will measure greenhouse gases, such as those associated with industrial pollution, at very regional levels. The intention of this network and mission of Earth Networks is to empower society through environmental intelligence.

The Earth Networks Center for Climate Research
Dr. Tony Haymet, Director of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, discusses the Earth Networks Center for Climate Research, located at Scripps Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego. This new center will address scientific issues related to the calibration and maintenance of the network, led by co-Directors Dr. Ralph Keeling and Dr. Ray Weiss.
