Matt Mehallow

Meteorologist

Matt Mehallow is a meteorologist who joined Earth Networks in October 2013. He is part of the 24/7 Meteorological Operations Department that not only supports various clients, but also consumer content, data quality review, and product meteorological support.

Prior to Earth Networks, Mehallow spent the 2013 summer as intern with the National Weather Station, LLC in Teterboro, New Jersey. There he provided forecast support for a variety of clients, including aviation, departments of public works and highway departments, and professional sports teams. He also was an intern with Earth Networks during the summer of 2012 where he worked in their Meteorological Operations Department, writing content and providing forecast support for clients.

A native of Glen Rock, New Jersey, Mehallow received his Bachelor of Science degree in meteorology from Penn State University in May 2013. As an undergraduate, he served as Head of Forecasting for the Penn State Campus Weather Service. He also participated in the WxChallenge intercollegiate forecasting competition, becoming one of the top-ranked forecasters.

In his free time, he enjoys following Penn State sports and playing golf, baseball and basketball.
